ROADTRIP

Do you just think suddenly of going out of town and relax for a little while? It would be great right? No need to worry since Cebu got something for you.

So last saturday, my family decided to go for a roadtrip at the same time a test drive of our new car Baymax. {He's an Suzuki Ertiga} Going from our home, we took the SRP road at early morning. It was a great sight to see the sun already rising while taking the highway.

For our roadtrip, we took the Transcentral Highway. In this highway we passed by Busay and Sirao but didn't stopover. A few kilometers from Lahug, you will see vendors selling fruits and something at roadsides. Promise, you should try their warm sweetcorn. It is the perfect food to eat there while enjoying the chilly and cool weather.

Our next stop was at Balamban. At this stop, we ate our breakfast {brought our own} while enjoying the beautiful sceneries of the mountains. We ate a part wherein they are selling burgers and other foods. Passerby seem to really stopover at this place to enjoy the mountains and some cabins, vacation houses located there while eating and enjoying the cool weather (I can say it's like a little Baguio right there). {so did we enjoy it}

Next stop... Toledo. In Toledo, we visited the Shrine of St. John of Sahagun. The inside of the church was really beautiful and the silence really suits the place making it more soothing for us. Around the shrine, you can visit the city. Beautiful flowers were also present at the church and I really had the urge to take a picture of it. {Rarely found here in the city}.

Lastly, we let Baymax be blessed at the church. This is to appreciate the blessing that God gave to us and to keep the car and us safe while using it.

So I suggest to try this journey once in a while. Enjoy cool breeze, greenies, fresh air, food, places, and many more.
